About

HopeI try to find beauty in every day…even within the tiny things in life…I am grateful for every moment!
My family and I live on a small farm in upstate New York, shared with 11 llamas, 4 ducks, 6 chickens, 2 dogs, 1 cat…my amazing husband and children ,and adorable neighbors!
I come from a large crazy, mixed up family of 9 children…I’m 3rd to the oldest…I absolutely love to get together for holidays and meals. I love my friends. I love animals, my youngest daughter and husband show our llamas at shows…I’m the all around support and chief llama smoocher! I love photography and just about anything creative…I usually have about a dozen things going at once.

I believe that if God leads me to it he will lead me through it.

Be well, and thanks for stopping by.

  1. Lovely thoughts. It is, indeed, in little things that we find daily joys. And I loved your comment that if God leads us to it, he’ll lead us through it. I love a woman who approaches life, with its ups and downs, from a place of strength. So glad I stumbled onto your blog. And what a beautiful place to live. Yum. Barbara

  2. What a great blog! I always dreamed of living on a farm like yours.( I now live near some but not on one — just east of Toronto, Ontario.) How I envy you! Your pictures are great! Have a happy holiday season!

  3. It’s great to meet you, through the blog world! I’m excited to follow your blog and gain inspiration for myself and my family. It is a dream of mine to own a small farm/ranch some day. 🙂 For now we are lucky enough to rent out the guest quarters at a beautiful ranch.

    Have a wonderful day!

  4. Someone just referred me on to your blog after I wrote a recent post about my love for animals, all my many pets growing up, and my desire to own a llama like the one I saw on Sesame Street (“Me and My Llama”, circa 1980). Ah, llamas. Love your pictures — what a gorgeous life you have!
